God, Family, Firearms, Freedom

Who is 2 Sons Armory

Years of planning and consideration finally culminated in early 2024 when 2 Sons Armory was born.

Our History

Austin, the owner, grew up in rural SE Missouri hunting just about everything you can pursue in the midwest, and developed a life-long passion for all things outdoors, especially guns. As an adult, his passion for firearms expanded into other sectors of the firearms industry. Getting married and having children inspired him to take a more active role in supporting the 2nd Amendment and passing down the freedoms he enjoys to the next generation. His arduous search for the perfect youth shotgun for his son, for which few options exist, inspired him to acquire a FFL and use his experience to help others find the perfect firearm for the individual. In early 2024, that plan became reality.

Our Mission

Simply put, our life mission as a family is to seek God’s will in our lives and pursue our relationship with him on a daily basis. God invented freedom through His wonderful gift of free will. The founders of our country recognized those God-given freedoms when they penned the Bill of Rights and Constitution. We firmly believe in freedom, and recognize that our God-given rights, guaranteed through those founding documents, are protected by the Second Amendment – The Right To Keep (purchase/own) and Bear (Carry with you wherever you go) Arms (Whichever tool you choose). Our company’s main mission is to encourage and support your Second Amendment freedoms by offering a variety of firearms and other products at affordable prices. Secondly, we strongly encourage you to introduce firearms and shooting to individuals who have not yet experienced this wonderful freedom. The fight to preserve American’s rights becomes easier through educating more Americans about the truth and benefits of gun ownership, and exposing the lies and mis-information in our society which seeks to manipulate and create negative perceptions towards firearms. Lastly, we want to normalize firearm ownership again. Decades ago nobody was shocked or appalled to see a rifle leaning in the corner of Grandpa’s living room, and yet everyone understood and respected the fact that it was not a toy. Firearms are useful tools and should be treated as such. Like a circular saw or power drill, tools only pose danger when misused.

Our family

Austin and his wife Rey have been happily married for over a decade. They have two sons (for which the company was aptly named). After chasing career opportunities to 6 locations in 4 states, they have returned to settle in Southwest Missouri on a small acreage homestead. “We enjoy shooting together, whether it be a family game of H-O-R-S-E on our outdoor range, or my son harvesting his first ducks over the early morning marsh during the youth season opener. We love teaching our boys responsibility and how to safely enjoy firearms. We are a firearms family, and we are here to support you and yours.” – Austin

Meet the team

Austin

His first gun was a Red Rider BB gun received on his 3rd birthday, with which he punched holes in hundreds of cans and cardboard boxes (and possibly a few in the side of the tool shed while shooting at horse flies). He enjoys hunting waterfowl, deer, and turkey mostly, but chases all sorts of game with his bow, rifle, or shotgun. His favorite gun to carry and shoot is the Sig P365X Macro Comp. Austin also enjoys skeet shooting, sporting clays, and running and gunning steel on the shooting range. Off the range, he is a pilot and enjoys flying, fishing, boating, watching Chiefs football, and Bible Study.

Rey

She started shooting in college when she joined the criminal justice shooting team. She prefers to sleep in and enjoy her morning coffee rather than rolling out of bed hours before sunrise to go hunting. She has, however, gone hunting with Austin and harvested a few ducks (after which she may have shed a tear or two). She enjoys shooting the Ruger GP100 revolver due to its simplicity and recoil-reducing weight. Besides shooting, Rey is a great homeschool teacher and enjoys tutoring, reading, hiking, gardening, and mothering. She loves animals and nature, and is a great cook, making some amazing venison dishes.

Fox

He received his first Daisy BB gun at age 3 like his Dad, learning gun safety and the love of shooting in the back yard popping balloons. He enjoys hunting and has harvested ducks, geese, doves, pheasants, and deer (besting his dad’s buck). He often grabs a 22 rifle and heads out in the woods on his own after squirrels. His favorite gun to shoot is the Walther P22 at steel targets. He also enjoys archery, and qualified for State his first year in NASP as a 7th grader. Fox also plays football, runs track, and enjoys working with wood in the shop. He is also really good at Fortnite, and can probably teach a high school history class regarding WWII.

Bear

Started shooting at 4yo with his Daisy slingshot, and with it, his first harvest was the glass top patio table. He has accompanied Dad on a few dove hunts and harvested his first deer, a spike at age 9 with a 300BLK. He loves shooting suppressed. His favorite gun to shoot is the Ruger 10/22, but he’s quickly falling in love with the 300 Blackout SBR suppressed with a Q Thunderchicken. Bear is an athlete outside the range as well, excelling at baseball and football (which is his favorite because he loves the contact).
